Formal charges expected to be filed against manFormal charges expected to be filed against man accused of killing 9-year-old girl in NE Ind.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) ' A spokeswoman for a northeastern Indiana prosecutor says a man accused of killing a 9-year-old girl by bludgeoning her with a brick likely won't be in a Fort Wayne courtroom when formal charges are filed against him.
Allen County prosecutor's office chief investigator Danielle Edenfield says she believes once formal charges are filed against 39-year-old Michael Plumadore on Friday, the warrant will be read to him in the Allen County Jail. She says an initial hearing likely will be held next week.
Plumadore was in court Tuesday when a judge ruled there was probable cause to hold him for 72 hours on a preliminary charge of murder in the death of Aliahna Lemmon.
Plumadore is being held without bond.
