FontDoctor Included with Suitcase 10

Extensis says it's offering Morrison SoftDesign's FontDoctor free with the purchase of Suitcase 10. Suitcase is a font management application for Mac OS X, while FontDoctor is a font diagnosis and repair utility. Current Suitcase 10 users can download FontDoctor for $29, a $40 discount off the regular price.

Suitcase, currently in version 10.1.2, provides for management for Mac OS X that allows users to view all fonts in the computer's font folders, preview them, organize them and activate and deactivate them. It also includes a collect for output feature and connects the the Suitcase Server for font synchronization. And it provides support for Windows fonts, including OpenType and TrueType.

FontDoctor will scan a user's font folders (on local hard drives or over a network) to locate and repair common font problems, including missing PostScript fonts, missing bitmaps, corrupt/damaged fonts, font ID conflicts, extra font sizes, mixed fonts types and more.

Suitcase 10.1.2 is available now for $99.95 for the full version, $49.95 for upgrades from previous versions. Competitive upgrades run $59.95, and the Suitcase 10 Server, which includes five free copies of Suitcase, sells for $999.95. For more information, visit
