Folsom Researchs Quality Management System Registered as ISO 9001:2000 Compliant(January 14, 2002)
The ISO 9001:2000 registration process is based on stringent requirements that involve an in-depth and introspective examination of business methodology, products and processes. To ensure that the international standards were met, Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. assessed the quality management systems and implementation of these systems against the ISO 9000 series standards.
"The ISO 9001 registration process has already improved our ability to successfully plan and execute product development," said Mike Jones, President at Folsom Research. "Our emphasis on continuous process improvement ensures that our customers will continue to receive products and services which are produced in accordance with the highest international quality standards."
Established in 1947, the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) provides international standards for products and services. ISO publishes International Standards, a series of documents on quality assurance outlining standards for developing Quality Management System. ISO 9000 is the general name for the quality standard, initially adopted in 1987. ISO 9001 outlines a model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation, and servicing.
