Fla. murder suspect: I tripped over husband's body

Wife accused in Fla. millionaire's killing said she knew nothing before tripping over his body By The Associated Press

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) ' A Florida woman accused of arranging the murder of her millionaire husband has told police she knew nothing about it until she tripped over his body in a New York hotel room.

Federal prosecutors have filed transcripts of recorded interviews that Narcy Novack gave to police in the days after the death of her husband, Ben Novack Jr.

During the interviews, she said the killer had to be a monster.

She also said she wished she had died, too.

Prosecutors say Novack had her husband and his mother killed in 2009 to get his $10 million estate. Ben Novack's father built the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach.

Novack is trying to get her statements to police suppressed.
