Fla. man: Police threat tweet during NYC Occupy protest a misunderstanding By The Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) ' A Florida man who tweeted during a New York City Occupy protest about killing police officers says it was all a misunderstanding.

Rusty Braxton tells the Daily News ( ) he thinks police are doing a great job.

The Florida restaurant manager says he was watching the New York City Occupy demonstration on UStream and browsing in a chat room when he sent the tweet. But he says he wasn't even talking about the protest.

About 70 Occupy protesters were detained Saturday after hundreds of activists gathered in Zuccotti Park to mark the sixth-month anniversary of the movement.

Braxton says he's never been to New York or attended an Occupy event.

It's not clear if the NYPD considers Braxton a real threat, but the department has said it was investigating.
