FirewireDirect Boosts Hard Drive CapacitySingle-drive, RAID models use mechanisms up to 320 GB
According to the company, every line has been updated with new, higher-capacity drives. This includes the Ultra III desktop FireWire hard drive line, which is now available in capacities of 180 GB, 200 GB, 250 GB and 320 GB, high enough for about 24 hours of DV footage.
FirewireDirect has also boosted the capacities of its Ultra160 SCSI RAID systems in its Vanguard Ultra Elite line. The Ultra Elite 12 now offers nearly 4 TB in a single enclosure, up from the previous 3 TB available.
