100% of U.S. independent filmmakers cite new projects as their #1 new business opportunity in 2004. To snag new projects, many Indies look for partnerships. One in four (27%) say subcontracting their services to another firm represents new business. 21% see new business coming from partnering with another firm. At the same time, 55% claim that finding the financial resources to grow their businesses is a top challenge. Beyond the business side, 35% say they are wrestling with "working with HD video."
