Fallout 3 at E3The format for E3 this year was quite different than the media bonanza free-for-all of years past. They're cracking down hard on the guy who knows the guy that once talked to the guy that can get you a pass. All the different companies were spread out at different hotels near the beach in Santa Monica. If you truly wanted to see everything, you needed to be ready to study some shuttle maps. You also needed reservations at pretty much every demonstration room to get a peek at the upcoming games exhibits.
We had reservations with Bethesda Softworks, creators of Oblivion and the much anticipated Fallout 3. They're demo was quite impressive and my partner in crime, Oscar Chen of Iron Pedestal, wasn't about to leave without asking 15 or 20 questions to the developers. We also got a peek at the Playstation 3 room and even saw Little Big Planet up close! Click Read More for a detailed review of Fallout 3 and some images from E3.
