Meanwhile, Zara Nathan, Conference Director of the European Unconventional Gas Summit, has announced that the European premiere of the acclaimed film "Haynesville" is to take place during the event, at 16h00 on 28 September.  The film follows the historic discovery of the massive Haynesville Shale natural gas field in northwest Louisiana and its impact on the local people's lives.  The find is projected to hold 180 trillion cubic feet of gas or, in economic terms $1.75 trillion dollars worth of energy.

Says Zara:  "This film is very topical for our summit, as major and independent operators are increasingly having to confront the non-technical challenges of communication and public relations because the environmental risks, such as the possibility of ground water contamination, posed by unconventional gas development have prompted an unprecedented media response and the public perception of unconventional gas development is at an all time low.  'Haynesville' has been lauded as a balanced look at how unconventional gas development has affected real people in the United States and we look forward to sharing it with our delegates."

"The film provides a unique view into what it's like to live through an energy boom and, in turn, what these resources could mean for our nation's energy future."

Gregory Kallenberg, director "Haynesville - A Nation's Hunt for an Energy Future".

The European Unconventional Gas Summit will showcase leading examples of how to address public and political communication from industry experts including:
