Extensis Ships Suitcase Server for Mac OS X

Extensis has released Suitcase Server 10.1 for Mac OS X. Suitcase Server is a font management server that works with Suitcase desktop software, released for OS X back in Novemeber 2001. It supports both Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server and is available free to all registered owners of Suitcase Server 8, 9, and 10.

With Suitcase and Suitcase Server 10.1, users can now view fonts in all Mac OS X font directories and activate or deactivate fonts in Cocoa, Carbon and Classic applications. Suitcase itself now supports Windows fonts for ac OS X applications, including OpenType and TrueType. And it provides an OS 9 utility for customizing the appearance of application menus.


Suitcase Server 10.1 is available now for download from the Extensis Web site. Suitcase Server 10.1 sells for $999.95 for the full version and includes five free copies of Suitcase 10.1 for Macintosh. It's available free for all registered owners of Suitcase 8, 9 or 10.
