Everyone.net Introduces Mobile Synchronization for Its Cloud-Based Enterprise Email Suiteone_mobile Service Enables Users to Automatically Sync Emails, Contacts and Calendar Data Between Desktop and Mobile Devices (February 03, 2010)
SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/03/10 -- Everyone.net, a leading provider of cloud-based business email and messaging solutions, today announced the availability of one_mobile, a new service that enables real-time synchronization of emails, contacts and calendar data between the desktop and mobile devices including RIM BlackBerry, Apple iPhone and Windows Mobile powered devices. one_mobile is the newest addition to Everyone.net's one_business email and collaboration service, which offers a low-cost, scalable, hosted alternative to traditional on-premises email systems.
With one_mobile, when users add a contact to the address book, send an email or update a calendar invitation, that information is automatically synced over-the-air to their mobile device, as well as from the mobile device back to the desktop.
one_mobile ensures secure data transfer and complete information backup in the cloud. Enterprise-class security features include a "remote wipe" capability that allows a user or administrator to remotely erase data from a lost or stolen mobile device. The service supports popular smart phones such as Apple iPhones, Windows Mobile devices and BlackBerry devices via AstraSync, a partner solution.
"Enterprises of all sizes are moving email to the cloud to maximize the reliability and scalability of email while greatly reducing total cost of ownership," said Brian Nakamoto, product manager for Everyone.net. "Mobile workers in those companies need the ability to keep all of their critical business information in sync, automatically, between the desktop, cloud and mobile devices. one_mobile adds that capability to the one_business suite, enabling employees to access all of that information, in real time, wherever they may be working."
In addition to one_mobile synchronization, the one_business messaging solution provides enterprise users with hosted email archiving, secure online file storage and file sharing capabilities and email- and phone-based customer support from a team of email experts. Two one_business email packages are currently available, a basic and a complete messaging solution, priced at $2.75 and $4.50 per user/per month. "Because of today's dynamic business environment, we place high value in immediate response to business communications," said Madeline Benito-Banaszak, Director of Development at Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group. "one_mobile serves this need well, providing workers access to their critical business information anywhere they go. It's not hard to see the value of Everyone.net's new service, especially when looking at the low total cost of ownership and effectiveness of the one_business email solution as a whole."
