Euphonix Appoints Andrew Wild as VP Marketing

Euphonix, Inc. announced today that industry veteran Andrew Wild has been appointed VP Marketing and will manage all marketing and product marketing for the company. Wild will report directly to CEO Jeffrey Chew.

The appointment follows the news that Euphonix has secured a new $6.0 million borrowing facility to support investment in new product development and future operations.

Andrew Wild has an honors degree in Electronics and started his career at the BBC in London. After five years at Virgin's (now EMI) Townhouse studios as Chief Technical Engineer, Andrew joined Solid State Logic in 1983 as director of UK and International Sales and moved to Los Angeles as VP West Coast Operations in 1984.

In 1991 he joined Euphonix as VP Sales and Marketing, leaving the Company in 1996, after the Companys IPO in August 1995. Andrew continued to consult for Euphonix contributing to the System 5 and R-1 development projects, and also acted as General Manager for TEC:ton Engineering. For the last two years he was CEO of DSP Media, an Australian-based digital audio workstation company.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Wild brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and is delighted to be back. ?As we were building Euphonix in its early years, our vision was that the Company should be the leading manufacturer of large format audio mixing systems in the world. With System 5 and the R-1 we now have the products to be in that position and with over 90 System 5 orders, we are a serious player. Everything is in place for the Company to move forward; a great team, a large and loyal client base and a range of leading edge products to take us into the 21st Century, stated Wild.
