Euphonix Appoints Andrew Wild as VP MarketingBackground includes BBC, SSL, DSP Media and Virgin's Townhouse Studios (December 18, 2001)
The appointment follows the news that Euphonix has secured a new $6.0 million borrowing facility to support investment in new product development and future operations.
Andrew Wild has an honors degree in Electronics and started his career at the BBC in London. After five years at Virgin's (now EMI) Townhouse studios as Chief Technical Engineer, Andrew joined Solid State Logic in 1983 as director of UK and International Sales and moved to Los Angeles as VP West Coast Operations in 1984.
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Wild brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and is delighted to be back. ?As we were building Euphonix in its early years, our vision was that the Company should be the leading manufacturer of large format audio mixing systems in the world. With System 5 and the R-1 we now have the products to be in that position and with over 90 System 5 orders, we are a serious player. Everything is in place for the Company to move forward; a great team, a large and loyal client base and a range of leading edge products to take us into the 21st Century, stated Wild.
Wild continued, ?I am also delighted that Directors Dieter Meier and Walter Bosch have had the foresight to continue to support the Company and its products. It allows us to move forward with aggressive product development and first class support and it allows me to work within a framework of stability that is essential for our customers and our future.
