DMN Newswire--2007-4-23--Escape Studios are excited to announce an upcoming event called 'Escape to Birmingham' in association with Media Skills. Escape to Birmingham will be held on Saturday 28th April as an open day designed to introduce our courses to those who are new to the world of visual effects.
Tutors from each key area of training at Escape Studios (visual effects, characters and games) will deliver a presentation focusing on the possibilities of using the Oscar-winning 3D animation package Maya. Visitors to the Open Day will then have the opportunity to sign up for Escape Studios' hugely successful 6-week Maya Core course being run in Birmingham this summer.
Speakers include Escape Studios' Training Development Director Lee Danskin, and 3D specialists Dotti Colvin and Dean Wray.
Media Skills is an up-to-date industry-led training facility that runs professional courses on the latest media software for TV, video, web design, Internet, animation, graphic design and publishing.
Media Skills is also home to one of the UK's first High Definition (HD) television camera training courses, and works in close collaboration with UCE Birmingham to deliver MA Media Enterprise and MA Events and Exhibition Management.
