Epson Ships New All in One SystemsSystems offer 5,760 DPI printing and 48-bit scanning
The Stylus CX5200 offers standalone copying, 22 PPM printing and 48-bit scanning. On the printing side, it uses DuraBrite ink technology (four-color) and a new high-speed Micro Piezo print head that delivers up to 22 pages per minute in black and up to 11 PPM in color. It can place up to six different ink droplet sizes as small as 3 picoliters at up to 5,760 x 1,440 optimized DPI. It includes four separate ink cartridges.
For scanning, the CX5200 offers 1,200 x 2,400 resolution at 48 bits. It can also function as a standalone copier.
The Stylus CX3200 offers similar features. It prints at 5,760 x 720 optimized DPI and uses Resolution Performance management technology to place up to six different ink droplet sizes as small as 4 picoliters. It prints 14 PPM black and up to 10 PPM color. It also offers 48-bit scanning at 600 x 1,200 DPI and standalone copying.
The Stylus CX5200 and CX3200 are available now for $199 and $149, respectively. Both support Macintosh and Windows systems via USB. For more information, visit http://www.epson.com.
