Epic Games Looking to Hire Senior Technology PositionPosition created as Unreal Engine enters next growth phase (January 27, 2006)
Epic Games, a world leader in videogame development and makers of the award-winning UnrealŪ Engine, announces it is looking to bolster its technology team to manage its exponential growth in the engine licensing business.
Epic is creating a new position for Lead Engine Programmer, which will head the Unreal Engine team. This position will work hand in hand with Technical Director, Tim Sweeney, in developing and delivering the next generation of Unreal technology. The success of Unreal Engine 3 in 2005, and the anticipated growth in the coming years, has led to the need for a dedicated person to manage the world-class team behind this next generation technology.
