Ensequence Hires Devici Founder and CEO to Oversee Connected Device Offering(May 16, 2011)
NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 05/16/11 -- Ensequence, the interactive TV company, today announced that the company has expanded its product offerings to programmers, service providers and advertisers to include interactivity on connected devices across all platforms -- encompassing both one-screen and two-screen interactivity.
Ensequence has hired Brian Powell, the founder and former CEO of Devici (formerly Widget Realm), to oversee the connected device offering. Powell has headed Devici since 2007 and has been the architect behind more than 150 applications for connected devices across iPhone, Android, Yahoo! Connected TV, Samsung, Roku and Boxee platforms. His portfolio includes projects with the NBA, AT&T Interactive, McGraw Hill, Belo Corp., Vimeo, Vizio, the United Way and many more. He holds degrees in International Business and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis.
