Eizo Nanao today introduced two new models in its line of ColorEdge LCD displays: the CG21 and the CD18. Both of the new displays are expected to ship in the third quarter and are being shown off this week at the CeBIT America convention in New York.

Eizo's ColorEdge displays are targeted specifically toward the graphics market and are designed for accurate and consistent color. The models include Eizo's ColorNavigator calibration software and are compatible with GretagMacbeth's EyeOne spectrophotometer. Both monitors offer a 170-degree viewing angle, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 400:1 contrast ratio. In addition, both monitors include automatic brightness controls and stabilization.

The new CG21 is a 21.3-inch display offering a 1,600 x 1,200 resolution. It will sell for $2,899. The CG18 is an 18.1-inch display offering 1,280 x 1,024 resolution. It will sell for $1,859. Both will be available in the third quarter. For more information, visit
