Eden FX Wins 2004 Emmy Award?Outstanding Visual Effects? For ?Enterprise? marks second win (September 14, 2004)
Eden FX, which specializes in the design, creation and production of visual effects work for all facets of the entertainment industry, has won the 2004 Emmy Award for ?Outstanding Visual Effects for its work on the TV series ?Enterprise, for the episode entitled ?Countdown. The win was announced during the 56th Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies at the Shrine Auditorium held in LA on Sept. 12th.
With its latest Emmy win, Eden FX artists have been nominated seven times since the companys inception-- (twice in 2004, three times in 2003, and twice in 2002,) and has won the Emmy Award twice, on Sept. 12th, and in 2002.
Eden staff members who worked on the winning episode include Christian Bloch, Pierre Drolet, Eric Hance, John Karner, Samantha Mabie-Tuinstra, David Morton, Fred Pienkos, Matt Scharf, Sean Scott, John Teska, and Chris Zapara.
In addition to the Emmy win for ?Countdown, Eden FX created CG effects for another episode of ?Enterprise, entitled ?The Council, that was also nominated this year for a Visual Effects Emmy. Eden staff members who worked on this episode include Rob Bonchune, John Teska, Koji Kuramura, Sean Jackson, Mike Stetson, PJ Foley, Pierre Drolet and Mike Tuinstra.
