ESC Entertainment Uses Nothing Real's Tremor and Shake

Company uses Tremor for on-set compositing of The Matrix Sequels (August 16, 2001)
Nothing Real announced that ESC Entertainment is using Nothing Real's Tremor non-linear compositing system for their current project, on-set compositing of The Matrix Sequels. ESC also purchased front-end rendering licenses of the company's Shake compositing solution.

According to the company, Tremor enables all artists in a project--from visual effects supervisors and producers to compositors to collaborate via real time viewing and manipulation of elements while on set. This enables the production team to evaluate different variations of a shot and making modifications during the shooting process without having to commit to any specific shots, the company said.

Tremor allows for live video feeds from on-set cameras to be linked, enabling shots to be assembled during principal photography. These features enable the production team to review the assembled shots and make any adjustments. ESC is also using Shake as its primary compositing tool for post-production work.
