ELSA Names Eric R. Shiroke President and CEO

Graphics card vendor ELSA, Inc. today announced that Eric Shiroke, 36, has been named president and chief executive officer. Mr. Shiroke brings more than 15 years of operations management, sales and marketing expertise to ELSA. In addition to overseeing finance, operations, sales, and marketing management teams, Mr. Shiroke will be responsible for setting the corporate strategy.

"Eric is exactly the right leader for ELSA," said Walter Mundt-Blum, vice president of professional graphics of ELSA AG worldwide operations. "His extensive experience in finance and operations, coupled with a broad sales and marketing management background, will help build new channels for ELSA and continue to grow our share in professional graphics markets."

"I have been enormously impressed by the strength of the company's technology and channel partners, and I am excited about the substantial growth opportunities that lie ahead for us."

Prior to his appointment at ELSA, Mr. Shiroke was responsible for business development and strategic alliances at VARStreet, a channel ASP. In addition, he served as director of distribution and channel marketing at SGI where he was responsible for key vertical markets. Mr. Shiroke has also held management positions at Iomega and Micropolis. Mr. Shiroke has a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
