E3 Issues Call For SpeakersDeadline for submissions is November 5th, 2004 (October 22, 2004)
Mark your calendar as E3 will be opening its doors May 17-20, 2005 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. We're currently looking for new, inventive, and exciting topics for our Conference Program. If you have a suggestion, we invite you to submit yours and hopefully join our faculty.
As a faculty member, you have the opportunity to educate and share your knowledge of what's going on in today's game industry with a core group of industry professionals. 2004 brought a record breaking number of dedicated attendees to the E3 Conference Program. Of that, 32% were alumni who attended E3 not just for the excitement of the show floor, but for the opportunity to improve their business and creative skills.
Whether your expertise is in marketing, wireless gaming, packaging, the online experience, retail, software development, or graphics, your ideas for a panel discussion or workshop topic may find a home in the Conference Program at the upcoming E3.
Our ground rules for participating in the Conference Program are simple and few:
1. Your participation should be in the spirit of commitment to your peers in the computer game industry.
2. All faculty members are responsible for their own travel and lodging. E3 Show Management does not offer any fees or remuneration for appearances on panels or in workshops.
3. This is not a sales opportunity. Our audience, the moderator, and show management will not tolerate nor invite back anyone who uses this presentation time to sell themselves or their company.
4. As an E3 Conference Program faculty member, we consider you a VIP guest of E3. Registration is complimentary and a speaker badge allows you to attend all conference sessions and gives you access to the show floor and all its activities. Your affiliation as a speaker will be used in all appropriate marketing materials.
Unfortunately we're unable to notify all the speakers who submitted a proposal of our final decision. Thus we'll contact just the accepted speakers by the end of January.
If you're interested in this unique and exciting opportunity, please complete the electronic proposal form at [http://www.e3expo.com/conference_programs/call_for_speakers/form.asp] and submit by November 5th - and don't forget to visit our E3 site for show and program updates.
