Drawmer Debuts DF330 Universal Noise Filter

For broadcast and tape duplication facilities By DMN Staff Writer
Drawmer is debuting the DF330 Universal Noise Filter, which replaces the DF320 ?Single Ended Noise Reduction System used by broadcasters and tape duplication facilities since its introduction in 1985.

New design features include an automatic high frequency restoration circuitry which compensates for any high frequency loss during heavy noise reduction processing. The new expander section now incorporates Drawmers proprietary ?programme adaptive circuitry to facilitate seamless downward expansion during programme pauses.

Ken Giles, Sales Director at Drawmer, comments, ?Although the DF330 has improved circuitry designs, we have kept the parameter layout as close to the DF320 as possible in order not to alienate our core broadcast users. The best news is the price remains the same.
