Dosch Releases Character DesignerIncludes more than 75 elements, such as chin pores, eyelid, lips and muscles
The texture elements in DT: Character Designer include details to help make 3D characters look realistic and believable. For instance, 3D figures can be aged and unique features added. The 75 elements contain the following items: chin pores, eyelid, eye tissues, fingerprint, foreheads, lips, muscles, skin for the neck, noses, scars, skin pores, scratches, wounds and many more. All elements are provided as Photoshop (PSD)-files, so texture- and bump-maps can be created for any 3D-application. Adding subtle detail makes virtual images look real.
The Dosch Textures line unlocks a variety of appearances for 3D objects and models. The wire-frame model of a computer 3D design is essential for giving the object its recognizable shape and for viewing it from different angles and perspectives, but without proper and optimal texturing the wire-frame is nothing but a rather abstract assembly of lines which only give away the rough shape of an object, but nothing more.
Every Dosch Textures product comes with dozens (in some cases a couple hundred) ready-to-use textures which can be used ?as is, or specifically modified to create unique looks. Parameters that can be customized for personalized effects are color, depth of texture, bump, surface structure, reflection, luminosity and more.
