Discreet Honored for Promoting Educational Technology for Youth

Discreet was presented with the Technology to Empower Community (TEC) Champion Award during a recent awards ceremony at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, D.C.

Discreet is being recognized for its "excellence in promoting innovative technology to educational communities throughout the country." The award was presented by Congressman Major Owens, chair of the Congressional Black Caucusı Education Brain Trust. "Discreet is honored to be chosen by the Education Brain Trust and included among the prestigious list of prior winners of the TEC Champion Award," said Paul Lypaczewski, general manager of Discreet and executive vice president, Autodesk. "Discreet will continue its dedication and strong emphasis on giving schools access to technological innovations and offering educational communities the tools they need to succeed."

Discreetıs work in the educational community focuses on assisting schools and community based service organizations with technology implementation, using tools that drive students to take an active interest in their education.


VR Visions, a partner of Discreet in their educational outreach, also received a TEC Champion Award at this yearıs event for their efforts on a new animation and virtual reality laboratory at Medgar Evars College in Brooklyn, New York.
