Discreet Hires Games Industry Manager Michel KripalaniTo drive product design for 3ds customers in game development (July 30, 2004)
Discreet announced today that Michel Kripalani has joined its team as Games Industry Manager. A veteran of the gaming industry, Kripalani founded and operated San Diego-based game development company Presto Studios (Myst III:Exile). Strengthening Discreets powerful 3ds max software development team, Kripalani will drive product design and management for customers in game development as well as coordinate industry relations with key game developers and console manufacturers. 80% of the leading video game developers use 3ds max software in their game development pipeline, and many of this years top award-winning games, including Splinter Cell 3 (Ubisoft), Halo 2 (Bungie) and Jade Empire (Bio Ware), were developed using Discreet tools.
?In addition to its use for feature film and television effects, 3ds max has long been a market leader in video game development.
