In a restored 1920s Fire Station in Providence Rhode Island, Film Director Gregory Roman opens Magic Box Films.
?Providence is one of the hottest cities in the country and Im proud to become a part of an already thriving film community. Magic Box Films is looking forward to making commercials and films right here in Rhode Island and everywhere else on the planet, for that matter. After directing freelance for a little over a year, I realized that I needed to open up my own shop, says Roman.
Along with winning an Honorable Mention at Sundance 2000 for his acclaimed underground cult short film ?TITLER, Gregory Roman has over a decade of experience as a broadcast producer on the Agency side, working on such national accounts as Infiniti, John Hancock, CVS, Dunkin Donuts and Fidelity Investments.
?Having such an extensive production background becomes an invaluable tool in many situations, not only as a film director, but also in building client relationships, adds Roman.
Magic Box Films is privileged to have Mitchell Rosenwald as a partner in each and every production.
Mitchell has been freelancing in the film industry for almost two decades, working with directors and production companies from New York to Los Angeles. He his clients include MasterCard, Kodak, McDonalds, Mobil Oil, Federal Express, and Verizon.
?Mitchell truly understands the importance of production value and how to help ?put it on screen for his clients. He comes to Magic Box Films as one of the most highly respected and in-demand producers in the country, says Roman.
?I think anyone working in film production would agree when I say: What matters today in this industry is not where you are, but how good you are.
