Digital Vision To Show Image Processing, Data-Centric Workflow And Color Correction at NAB2006

New DVNR 2k Image Processing & Restoration System and Nucoda Workstations on display (February 05, 2006)

New for NAB2006:
DVNR 2k Image Processing & Restoration System: Digital Vision will premier its new DVNR 2k system, which provides full aperture 2k RGB processing at 15 frames per second (fps) over HSDL links, as well as real-time processing in the video domain. The system supports Digital Vision's famous film grain and electronic noise reducer, its automated film dirt, dust and random scratch concealment system, and its adaptable aperture corrector.

Software-Based Restoration & Image Processing: Digital Vision will be showcasing its latest DVO software tools, which build on DV's 20 years of experience in image processing. DVO is a suite of resolution-independent image processing tools, including DVO Grain, DVO Dust and DVO Aperture.

9 Processor and 17 Processor Nucoda Workstations: The latest Nucoda workstations provide blistering increases in speed and throughput for data-centric color correction and image processing.

Nucoda Film Master v3: The new version of Nucoda Film Master incorporates major improvements in the user interface that enhance productivity and make the system much easier to learn and use for colourists.

Nucoda Film Cutter: A powerful assist workstation for Nucoda Film Master that supports real-time primary colour correction and digitally emulates the film lab process.

Nucoda Data Conform: A powerful resolution-independent data conforming and review system.

Valhall Colour Grade: Real-time mastering system supporting colour correction, pan-and-scan, aspect ratio conversion, film grain management, noise reduction and film dirt concealment.
