Digital Publisher Kids-Ebooks Releases Fantastic New E-Book, I Cant Fly, on the iTunes App Market

  (September 13, 2011)

Nottingham, UK (PRWEB) September 13, 2011

Kids-Ebooks has just launched I Cant Fly. This original ebook is great fun for kids from 3-7 years old, and helps with early learning and literacy development. Its available on iPhone and iPad now, for an introductory price of $2.99.

I Cant Fly is a story about overcoming fear. We follow Vernon, a fledgling albatross, on his quest to fly. Finding himself perched high up on the top of an enormous cliff, Vernons task seems insurmountable. Practice, encouragement and ultimately love spur him on. His journey is bought to life with beautiful watercolor illustrations and wonderful characterizations. These charming characters, and the dramatic sea and landscapes, will capture any childs imagination.

Using professional narration, which is synchronized with the animated text, the child easily identifies and relates the sounds with the words. Children also have the opportunity to interact directly with the story by tapping on specific elements within the pictures, to reveal a large graphic of the associated word, which is also spoken.

Parents will find the information button on the top left of each page particularly useful as this explains one of 22 unique and fascinating facts about the albatross and its life style. Not only will the child be engaged by this entertaining story, they will also be educated about the Wondering Albatross and how it survives in such a remote and inhospitable environment.

The albatross is a truly magnificent bird but its future is threatened. Long-line fishing fleets are creating a conservation crisis, with an estimated 100,000 albatross killed by them per year. Kids-Ebooks have teamed up with the RSPB and BirdLife Internationals global campaign to help save the albatross. Kids-Ebooks are proud to support them by donating 10% of our profits from the sale of this ebook to the cause, but also by running a competition that highlights the plight of the albatross. Specifically directed at children, this competition asks the entrants to tell us in no more than 50 words why they think it is so important to save the albatross.
