Digital Media Online launches IT Business Net Portal

New portal of sites and newsletter for IT and Enterprise professionals (May 15, 2006)

Digital Media Online  (DMO) has launched the IT Business Net  (IBN) portal, the latest member of the DMO portfolio of publications. DMO now offers more than 90 online publications and newsletters, strengthening its position as a leading provider of information for readers in the digital media, consumer electronics, and now IT/enterprise markets.

ITBusinessNet.com  consists of the main IBN portal site plus nine distinct sites focused on enterprise IT issues. These sites include Networking, Security, Storage, Hardware, Enterprise Applications, Productivity Applications, Internet, Software Development, and Business Issues. All the sites are closely integrated together, so navigation from one topic and site to the next is seemless and natural. In addition, IBN's e-newsletter, IT Weekly, will be available to qualified subscribers each week, bringing readers the latest technology and company news, as well as in-depth content available only on the IBN portal of sites.

Along with articles written by IBN staff and contributors, IBN will also provide readers with market news from PR Newswire, and technology and industry specific news from Associated Press.

"The IBN suite of sites offers product reviews, technology features, tutorials, and business-oriented coverage of the computer industry, with an emphasis on practical information that IT managers, administrators, and end users can put to use immediately," said IBN Senior Editor Esther Schindler. "We'll give decision makers the information they need, so they can make accurate choices about the products and technologies they deploy and use."

?IBN fills that great gap -- not too industry-specific, but with a technology-wide perspective we all need, said Max L. Eidswick, President of Red Paw Systems, Inc. ?Thanks to IBN for putting common sense back into a business technical publication!
