Digital Dimension Provides VFX For ?Racing StripesDevelops 3D animation of talking horses in Warner Bros new release (January 18, 2005)
Digital Dimension created character animation for the silver screen with their 3D animation of talking horses in Warner Bros new release Racing Stripes. The film is a fun ride with an orphaned Zebra attempting to find true glory on the racetrack. However, along the way he discovers the true achievement is through the connections of friends he has made along the way.
Digital Dimension drove their character animation talent into transforming the title character ?Stripes, from a nervous, stunned Zebra into a confidant stand out. ?Under the guidance of industry veteran animation director Alex Williams, we elevated our lip-sync know-how to a soaring level, says Marc Hall, Digital Dimensions CG Supervisor on the project. He goes on to say, ?The combination of great artists and great tools kept us at the fine edge of animation standards.
Moreover, Digital Dimensions team was involved in animating some of the main characters in the film. They worked on the personalities of Mandy Moore, (Sandy), Joshua Jackson, (Trentons Pride) and the star of the film, Frankie Muniz, (Stripes).
