Digigram Releases Mac OS X Sound Card DriversModels offer audio capture and processing for laptops and desktops
The new OS X drivers support the VXpocket v2, VXpocket 440 and VX222 sound cards. The VXpocket models are designed for laptops and come in a PC-Card configuration. The v2 offers 24-bit performance and include a stereo S/PDIF input and output and an LTC input. A breakout cable is also provided with XLR, phono and minijack connectors. The 440 is similar but has has four balanced mic/line analog inputs and four balanced analog outputs. (The number of active stereo inputs and outputs available varies with the sampling frequency and bit rate selected.)
The desktop model VX222 sound card includes balanced analog inputs and outputs with 24-bit converters, as well as digital input/output in AES/EBU or S/PDIF formats. It also includes two General Purpose Interface (GPI) inputs and outputs.
