Digigram Awarded E-Commerce “Trophée De La Nouvelle Economie”

(July 20, 2001)
Digigram, an innovator in networking solutions for digital audio and remote management, was awarded the E-Commerce prize in the “Trophée De La Nouvelle Economie” competition. Digigram edged out 40 other companies in the Grenoble region for the prize.

The winners for the “Trophée De La Nouvelle Economie” (www.trophéesdelanouvelleeconomie.com) were announced June 13 in Grenoble after the competition toured the following cities in different regions around France: Bordeaux, Lille, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, Strasbourg, Nantes and Nice.

France’s leading national magazine L’Express sponsored the competition along with telecomm Cegetel, Internet magazine le Journal du Net and regional magazine Le Dauphine Libéré. Three judges from each magazine picked a winner in each region in E-Commerce, Start-up and Initiative categories.

From train stations to stores, from shows to studios, the digital audio market is in full bloom,” said Digigram President, Philippe Girard-Buttoz.

Digigram has been working with digital audio since 1985. Today Digigram has sales of approximately $18 million Euros per year with 72 percent of the business conducted outside of France. It is estimated that Digigram products help equip one out of every two radio stations around the globe.
