DiamondSoft Announces Font Reserve 3.1

Server version also gains Mac OS X client By Dave Nagel
DiamondSoft has announced an update to Font Reserve Single User and a new client for the server version for Mac OS X. Font Reserve is a font management system targeted toward publishing environments. It supports auto-activation for most applications and support for additional font formats. It's expected to be available in August. The new OS X client should ship some time in the third quarter.

Version 3.1 includes plugins to activate fonts for documents opened in Adobe InDesign 2.0 and Adobe Illustrator 10 in Mac OS X. Version 3.1 also adds support for OpenType, Windows TrueType fonts, Apple's datafork (dFont) fonts and double-byte fonts. This update also includes an updated Font Sense XTension to provide auto-activation for QuarkXPress 5 documents.

Font Reserve 3.1 for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 will run $89.95. For more information, visit
