DejaOffice for Apple iPhone OS 4 to Include Calendar Compatibility, Call Logging, and Task Reminders

Mobile Office App Leverages iPhone's Address Book and Calendar With Call Logging and Call Notes, Categories, Colors, Week and Year Views, and Tasks With Recurrences and Reminders (April 09, 2010)

PORTLAND, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 04/09/10 -- DejaOffice™ 2010, a Personal Information Manager app for iPhone® and iPad™, will leverage new capabilities available in iPhone OS 4 to extend the address book and calendar apps in Apple® devices. DejaOffice currently handles calendar events linked to contacts, categories with colors, and business-friendly tasks and notes for iPhone and iPad. With iPhone OS 4, DejaOffice will add Customer Relationship Management (CRM) features with iPhone calendar data, integrate call logging and notes with contact records, and handle reminders for tasks and calendar events.

DejaOffice 2010 will use the Calendar API in iPhone OS 4 to link iPhone contacts to iPhone calendar events. The Add Contact Link feature in DejaOffice allows contact names from the address book to link with calendar events. Tapping on the linked name will navigate from the calendar event to the contact record for quick access to notes and details about the contact record.

DejaOffice will leverage the Call Event Notifications API in iPhone OS 4 to automatically attach call history to contacts in the iPhone address book. Also, at the end of incoming or outgoing calls, DejaOffice users will be able to make notes that will automatically attach to the contact record. If data is synchronized to the PC -- using either CompanionLink®, Microsoft® Exchange™ ActiveSync™, or Google Sync™ -- call notes and logs will become a permanent part of the customer record.

The DejaOffice 2010 app is currently available for free for iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store™. The app will fully support iPhone OS 4, announced by Apple to be available in Summer 2010. Visit www.dejaoffice.com for more information about DejaOffice 2010.
