Daystar Networks Buys Six Hitachi Digital Cameras(October 11, 2001)
The network is expected to be in some 50 markets within the next 18 to 24 months. It's also seen on the Christian TV and radio satellite network Sky Angel, which can be seen using a Dish Network 18-inch dish. With Daystar's base of viewers still expanding, all reliable equipment is put to use. The Hitachi Z-2000s have been converted to triax and placed on a mobile production truck. The new cameras went to work immediately.
The Z-3000 has three 2/3-inch CCD imaging devices, each containing 640,000 pixels. With Hitachi's exclusive 13-bit digital image processing, this camera features outstanding picture quality. A built-in noise reduction circuit provides a 65dB signal-to-noise ratio as well as a Smart Card that allows settings to be instantly stored and recalled.
Multiple Z-3000's can also be remotely controlled from the SU 2100 master set up control panel. The Z-3000 is dockable to most popular VTR formats.
