Dachis Group Acquires Powered

Acquisition Significantly Expands Social Business Customer Engagement Practice, Establishes New York Presence, and Creates the World's Largest Facebook Preferred Developer (December 21, 2010)

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/10 -- Dachis Group, the world's largest Social Business consultancy, announced Tuesday the acquisition of Powered Inc. and its operating subsidiaries StepChange Group, Drillteam, and crayon.

The acquisition significantly expands Dachis Group's Social Business Customer Engagement practice, adding Powered's significant expertise in social marketing, including strategy, planning, program development and execution, program management, content marketing, blogger outreach, influencer activation, advocacy programs, branded communities, and branded events. Powered's clients include HP, Nike, Clorox, Frito-Lay, Ernst and Young, Toys "R" Us, T-Mobile, Kraft, H&R Block, Nestle, Toyota, Gillette, and Target.
