DMN Wiki Wiki Wiki

Before the days of Wiki, the Forum By Ko Maruyama
DMN has deployed some new Wiki technology for the sharing of information and techniques.  If you visit CreativeMac, Digital Producer, MacAnimation Pro, or other article sites featuring tons of reviews, tutorials, tips and tricks, you know about the deep resources on the Digital Media Net web sites.  There are some new tutorials featuring's Garrick Chow and Jeff Van West which are amazing.  These Wiki Tips will work in conjunction with the user forums to provide information and interactive dialog..

When I started writing articles for DMN, David Nagel edited and put all of my articles into print.  For a couple of years, he put the pictures in, formated the text and made the links click to the correct URLs.

Now, with the new DMN Wiki Tips, ANYONE can jump right into the publication process all by themself.   The new Digital Media Net Wiki will serve as a host to all kinds of resources, with contributions from anyone.  It'll function similarly to other wiki pages, with info, tips, tricks and techniques.   Not only can you write on the forums, but now you have the additional ability to write into the wiki, and modify the content.

You can start your own DMN Wiki entries by clicking here:

Before the DMN Wiki, members' only had easy access to the sites here by submitting work to the message boards.  The DMN Wiki Tips is an alternative way to create tips and tricks for other people in the community.

The forums at will continue to be a source of communication between users.  Additionally, be sure to check the forums for valuable tips and tricks.  I've marked several of my posts with the subject [forum tip] or [forum tutorial].   There are movies printable lessons and even project files embedded in the message boards.

Be sure to register so you can take full advantage of the message boards (this helps to weed spammers , bots and inappropriate threads only).  Everyone is welcomed.

Want to lurk?  Check 'em out.  There are more than just messages in those threads.

You can set your preferences so that you won't miss any message that is posted in a specific forum, or set email preferences to receive all answers to your post directly in your email box!
