DMN Podcast Episode 27: 2007 Hot news from Wondertouchs Alan Lorence
As I have said before I love using After Effects. Its my application of choice. In second place I would have to say is Wondertouchs Particle Illusion. Its just so cool and fun to create amazing particles in it.
When I got the call that Alan Lorence was going to be in town with some huge news, I cleared my day and went to see him. He showed me a demo of what was to come: Particle Illusion for After Effects. I drooled badly. Now my favorite particle tool for 2d was going to be easily accessible in After Effects. If I wanted to quickly see how an explosion particle would work on a shot I was working on, I could simply add it to my composition and view it. No longer did I need to render out from After Effects and import to Particle Illusion. Im very happy.
As I pulled my checkbook out Alan informed me that it wouldnt be fully ready until April 08. Shame on him. I made him promise to do my show so he could tell the world what was incoming. Enjoy.
