DG Names Neil Nguyen Chief Executive OfficerScott Ginsburg Will Become Executive Chairman (November 09, 2011)
DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/09/11 -- DG® (NASDAQ: DGIT), the world's leading ad management and distribution platform, today announced that it has named Neil Nguyen, who currently serves as DG's President and Chief Operating Officer, as its Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2012. Mr. Nguyen will continue as a member of DG's Board of Directors.
Scott Ginsburg, 59, who joined DG as Chairman of the Board in 1998 and assumed the additional role of Chief Executive in 2003, will become the Company's Executive Chairman on January 1, 2012. In that role, Mr. Ginsburg will advise on strategy and work closely with the Company's leadership team. DG has initiated a search for a new head of operations in light of Mr. Nguyen's appointment to CEO.
Mr. Nguyen, 38, has been at DG for 7 years and has held numerous executive positions, including EVP, Strategic Planning and VP Global Sales & Business Development. As President and COO, Neil has played an influential role in serving DG's customers, advancing DG's cross-platform portfolio of digital media services, increasing its geographic footprint, and overseeing the integration of the recent acquisitions of MIJO, Treehouse, EyeWonder and MediaMind. Prior to joining DG, Mr. Nguyen served in various management roles in the digital media industry, including President of the MultiMedia Group at Point.360, where he was responsible for the advertising and media distribution business unit. He received a B.S. from California State University, Northridge.
