DEG Sponsors DVD Entertainment ConferenceTo produce four sessions at Entertainment Media Expo (EMX) (June 14, 2004)
DEG: the Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) recently signed on as a sponsor and program producer for the ?DVD Entertainment Conference & Showcase part of the upcoming Entertainment Media Expo (EMX). In this capacity, the DEG will be responsible for producing four sessions of the DVD Entertainment Conference & Showcase as well as providing some additional conference and program support for EMX.
The EMX conference is being held August 31 and September 1 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. EMX will bring together under one roof DVD Entertainment Conference & Showcase, MediaTech, Surround 2004, Entertainment Packaging Summit, Entertainment Asset Management and IDDA. This is the first year that all these trade events will be held simultaneous and will be the worlds largest conference and technology showcase for DVD decision makers, media manufacturers, music engineers and producers, CD and DVD packaging designers and digital asset managers. About 3,000 professionals who create, produce, market, sell and manufacture DVD movies, music and games are expected to attend.
DVD Entertainment combines a premier executive-level seminar program with a comprehensive showcase of DVD technologies for studios, labels, producers and facilities involved in the creation, production and distribution of DVD Video, Music on DVD and ROM entertainment titles. DVD Entertainment is the most established and longest running DVD show in the industry and is host to the annual DVD Awards, which will take place August 30.
