Cyan to Address Key Business Ethernet and Wireless Backhaul Topics at Spring ConferencesCyan's Steve West and Frank Wiener to Present at Four Networking Industry Shows (March 05, 2012)

In the OSA Executive Forum co-located with OFC/NFOEC in Los Angeles, Cyan CTO Steve West will present in a panel session titled, "Six Technologies to Watch: Start-Ups Tell Their Story." He will be joined by Xiangdong Cao, chief executive officer and co-founder of Hongtuo New Technologies; Matthias Tom Frei, founder and chief executive officer of Micram Microelectronic GmbH; Raj Shanmugaraj, president and chief executive officer of Acacia Communications, Inc.; Paul Voois, chief strategy officer of ClariPhy; and Greg Young, chief executive officer and president of Luxtera, Inc.
In the Market Watch at OFC/NFOEC, Cyan vice president of marketing Frank Wiener will present in a panel session titled, "Impact of Mobile Broadband." The panel will be hosted by Ron Kline, principal analyst in Ovum's Network Infrastructure group. Wiener will be joined by representatives from multiple vendors as they discuss the relationship between packet-optical and all things mobile.
At IP Possibilities Conference & Expo in Indianapolis, Wiener will present in a panel session titled, "Meeting the Challenge of Technology Evolution," along with John Summersett, chief operating officer, Great Lakes Comnet, and Mark McDonald, vice president product management, Overture. OPASTCO technical director John McHugh will moderate the panel.
And at the COMPTEL Plus Spring Convention & Expo in San Francisco, Wiener will present in a panel session titled, "Mobile Backhaul and Ethernet Services - The Services Required to Grow Business," along with Chad Hoyle, director of network operations at DukeNet, and Ty Estes, marketing director at Omnitron Systems.
