Cubic Transportation Systems Supplies BlackBerry App to RMV

BlackBerry Smartphone Users in Germany's Rhein-Main Region Can Now Use Their Mobile to Purchase Tickets and Timetable Enquiries on the Move (October 04, 2011)

FRANKFURT, GERMANY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- Cubic Transportation Systems, a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) that is the world's leading provider of intelligent travel solutions, has successfully expanded its mobile ticketing system in Germany and delivered to Rhein-Main Verkehrsverbund (RMV) a version of the app for BlackBerry.

The RMV network area encompasses the city of Frankfurt, which ranks second only to London as a financial centre in Europe. The launch was marked by a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Frankfurt, Petra Roth.

Along with users of Android and iPhone handsets, BlackBerry owners can now quickly and easily purchase tickets on RMV's public transport system, without looking for change and waiting in queues at a ticket machine. Once registered via the RMV website at www.rmv.de, passengers can purchase single tickets, day tickets and group day tickets for adults. Predefined routes can be saved to 'Favourites' to speed up purchases and transactions are conveniently filed in a 'Ticketsaver' folder for repeat purchases.

The mobile ticketing app also provides access to a comprehensive, real-time information timetable and a tool to track GPS positions and the next available stop.
