Crush Editorial Names Mauro Cameroda, EditorAnnouncement made today by Executive Producer Cindy Carey (May 04, 2005)
Crush Editorial, a leading post production editorial company specializing in TV commercials, motion picture trailers, promotional content for videogames, and other video programming, has named Mauro Cameroda as staff Editor. The announcement was made today by Cindy Carey, Crush Editorial’s Executive Producer.
Since joining Crush, Mauro has worked on spots for Toyota through Saatchi and Saatchi.
Prior to his work for Crush, Mauro was a Freelance Editor for three years. During this time, his featured projects included cutting several campaigns of Safeway spots for Dailey and Associates; Toyota Sales Event spots for Satchi & Satchi; California Tourism, Raleys and Sutter Health spots for Mering & Associates; Ford, Buick, Cadillac, and HBO spots with director Lionel Coleman; and many spots with Exec Producer Carey Crosby and Director Hank Benson of Roaring Tiger Films.
From 2000-01, Mauro was a staff Editor with Ntropic, helping move that boutique in Sausalito into San Francisco. During this time, he worked with the Attik, Mering & Associates, and Roaring Tiger Films. Earlier, he was an Editor with Crew Cuts/ San Francisco, during which time he cut a fake commercial for “Saturday Night Live.”
Mauro was a freelance Editor from 1998-2000, working mainly out of Joint Editorial in Portland, OR, with Wieden & Kennedy. During his years there, he cut many packages of Nike and Indy Racing League spots, and also worked directly at the Nike campus in Beaverton, OR, with current Goodby, Silverstein & Partners Director of Production Josh Reynolds. Mauro also cut multi-screen Niketown videos for various sports and athletes.
Mauro’s first full time editing job was with Filmcore in the mid/late 90s, working under marquee editor Doug Walker. While with Filmcore, Mauro cut several packages for ESPN, Nike, and Microsoft, as well as numerous other spots.
