Crush Editorial Names Lisa Cheek New Editor

Leading post production editorial company appoints Cheek as staff Editor (January 21, 2005)

Crush Editorial, a leading post production editorial company specializing in TV commercials, motion picture trailers, promotional content for videogames, and other video programming, has named Lisa Cheek as staff Editor. The announcement was made today by Cindy Carey, Crush Editorials Executive Producer.

With Crush, Lisa is currently working on spots for Toyota, IHOP and Chevy.

Prior to her work for Crush, Lisa worked at Mad River Post from 1993-2000 as Avid Editor. During this time, her commercials work included Staples, E-trade, Lincoln Mercury, Charles Schwab, Disney, the movies ?20 Dates directed by Myles Berkowitz, ?A Weekend In Marthas Vineyard a short film by Spike Lee, ?In Quiet Night, directed by Jenny Bowen, ?Concerto a short film by John Ketchum, and an American Society of Cinematographers 1998 Award Show.

From 2000-2003, she was a freelance Avid Editor for a number of companies, including Radical Media, Fusion Films, Riot, and Cylo, working from offices based in Montreal, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Earlier in her career, Lisa was an Avid Assistant, where she assisted on commercials and shows for Red Car, FleetStreet, Hanks Editorial, Mad River Post, Visualize, and David Hayes & Assoc. She has also served as a TV promotion writer/producer, a video editor, and a radio commercial writer.
