Creo Announces Prinergy 2.2PDF workflow system gains new trapping and color management features
According to Creo, the new Creo PDF Trapper offers enhanced functionality and ease of use, as well as automated and manual press-ready PDF-to-PDF vector trapping and interactive editing. The new Creo Color Management feature offers ICC-based color management for platemaking and proofing. It improves handling of Hexachrome and other N Color profiles, according to Creo, and simulates spot color inks with Staccato-screened, process-color builds. Other new features include:
- Advanced Production Automation with integrated editor for APA file creation;
- Auto Re-Combiner for recombining separated input files;
- New assignment mode for centering a page in the imposition window;
- Non-linear web growth and ink coverage reports;
- Access to screening information history;
- New variable marks.
