Credo Interactive Announces New Mocap Conversion Service

(January 07, 2002)
Credo Interactive today announced their new Motion Capture Conversion Service, which gives users the flexibility of using pre-existing motion capture libraries converted to their Maya target skeleton, saving them development time and money. And mocap conversion will not be limited to just Maya, Credo is also looking to add other formats based on the needs of its client base.

"Our mocap conversion service was created because of the needs of our existing customers", says Bart Copeland, Credo's President and CEO. "We saw that many of our customers were switching to Maya leaving a huge investment in motion capture content sitting idle. We got that investment working for them again by developing a cost effective process for converting their existing motion files into Maya motion clips."

"Credo technicians are accessible and have a good knowledge of the style and process that is familiar to their clients. They deliver a great value for quality and quantity of work done!" says Iain Ross, Producer at Radical Entertainment and recent customer of Credo's motion capture service.
