MALTA, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/31/11 -- Crave Games today announced the launch of the Sing4 YouTube Contest in support of the November 1st release of Sing4: The Hits Edition for the Wii system from Nintendo. Available for $39.99, Sing4 is rated "T" for Teen and for a limited time, comes packaged with a microphone.
Sing4 and the Sing4 YouTube Contest transform karaoke, one of the world's most popular forms of entertainment, into an immersive singing experience. Aspiring professionals and amateurs alike are empowered to get into the game and get online to show off their singing talent.
The Sing4 YouTube Contest is open now and will conclude January 31, 2012. Contestants can choose from four featured contest songs by Rihanna, Train, Carrie Underwood and Daughtry. After selecting one of the four songs, contestants will videotape themselves performing it, post their performance and upload their video by logging on to www.youtube.com/sing4. Videos will be judged on originality, talent and creativity, and one grand prize winner will be selected to perform as the Opening Act at the Songwriters Music Series: Chicago edition to benefit VH1 Save The Music Foundation in 2012 (specific date to be announced) plus win $10,000 in cash & prizes. First and Second prizes will also be awarded.

Sing4 enables up to four players to sing and record their own voices with or without the original artists' vocal tracks in the music video. The state-of-the-art voice metrics, music, lyrics and the scoring are interwoven into the music videos. There are 50 songs one can choose from on Sing4, which have over 2.5 billion views on YouTube. Forty hit songs come with the game and an additional 10 hits can be purchased and downloaded through the Wii system's downloadable content (DLC) capability.
