Like many nonprofits struggling to make ends meet in a down economy, the San Francisco-based charity A Good Idea is continually looking for ways to expand its network of supporters and raise funds for its outreach initiatives. Corduro's new mobile application is empowering the group's members to revitalize their recruiting efforts and even take donations directly through their smart phones.

Make every volunteer a donation center
Member organizations also can promote their community within the application so that other users outside of their volunteer base can learn about the cause and get involved. In addition, the smart phone application and turnkey payment network lets volunteers go from being passive donors to activate participants by providing the tools to accept donations on behalf of the group using their mobile device.
