Cool Beans Appoints Rick Granoff Senior Audio Engineer

(November 02, 2001)
Cool Beans Digital Audio, a Manhattan postproduction audio finishing and mixing studio for commercials, has hired Rick Granoff as a Senior Audio Engineer.

"Rick is an experienced and versatile sound designer and mixer," says Peter Fish, managing partner in Cool Beans operation. "He has strong roots in music scoring, and heıs intimately familiar with all the major stock music libraries."

Granoffıs transition to Cool Beans should be a smooth one. Heıs well versed in the world of radio and TV spot mixing, as a sampling of his recent credits testifies: Summer 2001 Coors Light Sweepstakes, Keyspan Energy, Helzberg Diamonds, Consolidated Cigar and Trident Gum, among others. Granoff also sports an impressive track record of pharmaceutical advertising and corporate work for such clients as FCB Healthcare, Cline Davis Mann, and Medisolutions. His work with cable television promos includes HBO, Cinemax, MTV, Noggin and Nickelodeon, including the highly successful, yearlong Nickellenium Campaign.

"This is a great time to be joining Cool Beans," says Granoff. "Theyıve been doing excellent work here, and our partnership with Thirteen/WNET New York puts us in a position to continue that trend. But, in a larger sense, itıs also a great time for the entire family of companies. Looking at the visual work Rhinoceros has been involved with, one just gets a feel that artistic standards are always being challenged around here."

Prior to joining the staff of Cool Beans, Rick Granoff worked with Nutmeg Recording in New York for eight years.

New York based Cool Beans Digital Audio is a Multi-Video Group, Ltd. company.
