Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc. Discusses Aggressive Growth Strategy in the Personal Health Manager Market During Its Nationwide Teleconference

PALM CITY, Fla., April 29, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CTYX) is pleased to announce that the Company plans an aggressive growth strategy within the Personal Health Manager Market. During the Company's nationwide teleconference yesterday, Ronn Schuman, CEO, Michael Robbins, Chief Arcetect of Connectyx and William E. Carlson, Director of Connectyx Technologies, were able to update the financial community about developments within the Company including marketing campaigns, competitive advantage, sales opportunities and strategic partnerships.

During the Teleconference, Mr. Schuman explained how Connectyx, in his opinion, is no longer a start-up company, and the MedFlash® product is developed, functional, and has members in all 50 states. He stated that the Company's goal is to have 1.2 million subscribers/members by the end of 2011. Mr. Schuman discussed that MedFlash is being sold in dozens of well-known retail outlets including portions of national drug store and grocery store chains that include 280 Walgreen's locations in Orlando, Harry Teeter's, Fred Myer, amongst others. He stated that over the past 4 months, Connectyx has built and deployed what it believes to be a fully functional e-commerce system for its member renewal programs and the Company continues generating revenues since the product's launch. Mr. Schuman discussed the additions to the Company's advisory board with Dr. Bob Arnot, Chief Medical Educator at Connectyx, and Dr. James R. Taylor. Dr. Arnott has worked with several NBC and CBS programs. He is responsible for the medical education and video content for the MedFlash Portal and website. Dr. Taylor has an extensive background in the healthcare and pharmaceutical field and has conducted presentations at institutions such as the University of Florida.

Mr. Schuman also mentioned that part of Connectyx Technologies' marketing objectives are to continue to building its distribution channels, which is necessary to capture a significant portion of the quickly emerging PHM market. The Personal Health Manager (PHM) is the healthcare patient's connection to the world of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Mr. Schuman discussed that EMR systems are rapidly taking hold in government and hospital systems nationwide, and Connectyx Technologies expects that the PHM market is going to be a key instrument in its success over the upcoming years. MedFlash® products save consumers and the medical industry time and money.

Mr. Schuman stressed the importance in building brand awareness and recognition for Connectyx. He mentioned that Connectyx is working hard to establish MedFlash as one of the market leaders in this new sector. The Company has recently posted its first 60 second MedFlash®TV commercial on its Web site, which will be used to bring awareness to the importance of having health records. With the help of the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team and Walgreens Pharmacy, Connectyx Technologies expects MedFlash ® to expand into several markets including the Orlando, Florida area, where it will be available at 280 Walgreens locations. The Company is currently working with local Orlando media channels on schedules to air the commercial. Mr. Schuman mentioned that Connectyx recently engaged the services of eight-time Major League Baseball All-Star Darryl Strawberry and raised money for the Darryl Strawberry Foundation for Autism. In February, the Company co-sponsored Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope and Stratus Racing during race week for the Daytona 500. Mr. Schumann stated "the remainder of 2010, we plan to engage other celebrities to help raise awareness of our product and our name recognition." Mr. Schuman also discussed that Connectyx is now published in and available through "Sky Mall" magazine, which has a great demographic for the market they are targeting as a significant number of people fly everyday and read this magazine.

Michael Robbins, Chief Architect at Connectyx, mentioned that the Company is in the process of developing more advanced tools that include MedSync. This will improve how members connect their personal health portal online at with their MedFlash portable storage device that plugs into a standard USB port on their personal computer. MedSync will also connect Connectyx members to other PHRs such as Google Health and Microsoft Healthvault as well as PHRs provided by retail pharmacies and healthcare providers. In addition, the Company will also bring its mobile and smart phones such as the iPhone and Blackberry, into the picture as well. The proliferation of mobile phone applications for personal health care will increase the need for synchronization with a personal health record. MedSync is Connectyx Technologies vision and tool set for how its members can synchronize across the many platforms from which they will choose.

William E. Carlson, MD., Advisory Chief Medical Officer and Director of Connectyx, stated, "As we move farther into federally mandated electronic storage requirements and sophisticated communication platforms, management believes the individual's role will emerge as the key element to the success of these initiatives." Connectyx Technologies expects that Personal Accountability for management and maintenance of health information and disease management programs will become the primary stable element in the quest for portability of reliable and pertinent personal health care data. Dr. Carlson discussed that Company's positive outlook about its product's position to facilitate the ever changing health care market. Dr. Carlson believes that Med-Flash will be able to provide all of the necessary elements to successful participation in anticipated healthcare initiatives of the future.

Mr. Schuman also mentioned that the Company continues developing and growing its channels of distribution along with expanding its infrastructure for the web based software. Connectyx Technologies completed phase one of the MedFlash portal about a year ago, including packaging and POS displays. As the Company enters the next three quarters of 2010, it will be directing our concerted efforts and resources to further developing MedFlash, MedSync, marketing and distributing its products so that Connectyx can achieve market share to assure that it will be a major player in this field.
